Upgrade, Inc is a San Francisco-based neobank founded in 2016.

Upgrade will start originating auto loans through 30 auto dealers.

Upgrade says it currently has relationships with asset managers and credit unions to buy the loans.

The firm plans to include customers with lower credit scores in its offering.
