Swiss social security asset manager Compenswiss (CHF 40 billion AUM) plans to increase its private credit portfolio to 3% of its total assets – which equate to approximately CHF 1 billion in private credit.
Compenswiss plans to do this through managed funds.
This is part of a trend of large investors adding materially to their private credit allocations and so private credit demand.
Issuers may want to consider positioning themselves for this capital.
