This is Kartesia’s second fund for its Senior Opportunities strategy. The first closed in March 2021 at €1bn.

Their Senior Opportunities strategy invests in senior secured loans to Europeans lower mid-market companies.

Kartesia’s recent transactions include: acquisition financing in FCDE/Exen’s purchase of Bowen Systems; acquisition finance in Clearway’s purchase of Secontec; and a unitranche financing for Cemedis Group.

Kartesia has a total AUM of €6.7bn and team of over 100 people across eight European offices.
